The Jumbo-Visma team has starred this Wednesday in one of the great movements of the cycling market for next season with the signing of Australian Rohan Dennis for the next two seasons. In this way, the Dutch team snatches one of the most versatile cyclists in the peloton from Ineos, who has already demonstrated his ability in the mountains in week-long events such as the Tour of Switzerland and Tirreno-Adriatico or helping Tao Geoghegan Hart in the Stelvio to conquer the Giro d'Italia 2020 but that, however, this year has not been included in the Ineos team for the Giro, Tour and Vuelta

In addition, Dennis reinforces the team in the face of time trials, since specialists such as Primoz Roglic or Tom Dumoulin are now joined by another great wheeler who has already been twice world champion of the discipline in 2018 and 2019 and who in the Games Tokyo Olympics was awarded a bronze medal after their new teammates Roglic and Dumoulin.

In statements released by the team, Dennis himself was very excited about his signing. "I am eager to seek new challenges and I am very excited to join one of the leading teams in the professional peloton. Riding alongside riders like Primoz Roglic, Wout Van Aert or Tom Dumoulin is something I could not refuse. I will continue to contribute to scoring victories in the World Tour with the team and having my chances in the week-long races is one of my goals. It's a new chapter, but also a return to my early years, when I was part of the Rabobank affiliate team in 2011. And I'll be back too to ride a Cervélo bike, the bike with which I made the leap to professionals. I want to thank Ineos-Grenadiers for the time I have spent with them. It has been a fantastic journey with many successes that I hope to continue in the Jumbo-Visma. "
