Real Zaragoza is one step away from closing the loan, without a purchase option, of Borja Sainz. The 20-year-old winger and U-19 international, has already played forty First Division matches with Alavés and if the operation is completed, he would become the second reinforcement of the Aragonese for the 2021-22 season after Fran Gámez.

Borja Sainz is a right-handed winger who usually plays with a different leg and stands out for his power and speed, a footballer profile that Real Zaragoza currently lacks, very much in need of additions, especially on the attacking front.

Borja Sainz (February 21, 2001, Leioa, Vizcaya) trained for five seasons in Lezama and in the summer of 2017 decided to sign for Alavés, where on August 25, 2019 he became the first player born in the 21st century to debut in the League. Now, practically two years later, he could continue his progression in La Romareda.
