The soap opera is over: Locatelli is from Juve

The midfielder leaves Sassuolo thanks to the agreement between the clubs, which arrived today. La Vecchia Signora will pay out 35 million euros in 2023.

Juventus has already closed one of its most anticipated signings this summer: that of Manuel Locatelli. This afternoon, Vecchia Signora and Sassuolo reached an agreement that has taken several weeks to reach and that has not been broken even when Arsenal tried to convince the player, who had already given his word to the Bianconeri.

Juve obtains a two-year assignment, with a mandatory purchase option in 2023, and will disburse 35 million euros, variables included. Sassuolo, according to 'Sky Sport', will also keep a percentage between 10 and 20% of a possible future sale of the footballer. Locatelli, 23, has been one of the protagonists of the European champion Italy this summer and was the missing piece in the midfield of Max Allegri, who considered his incorporation an absolute priority.
