Real Madrid, PSG, United, Juventus and the dance of '7'

The number '7' is a very representative number of some soccer stars. However, this could be changed by major movements in the market.

The '7' is the number that normally corresponds to one of the greatest offensive references of a team. Great footballers wear it: Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani, Eden Hazard and a long etcetera. Fans are used to identifying these players with this number. However, the turbulent transfer market that we have experienced in the last week has not yet closed its doors and it is very possible that a new addition will make the mythical number 'dance' again in some of the great teams of the continent.PSG

The '7' of the Parisian team is Kylian Mbappé, by far one of his greatest offensive references. However, the French player has told the club on several occasions that he has no intention of renewing. Most likely, his new destination is Real Madrid, which has already made millionaire offers to try to sign him. In case he finally does not leave in summer, he will arrive at the white club at zero cost in winter. In any case, the number '7' will remain vacant.

One of the candidates to replace Mbappé is Erling Haaland, the young forward of Borussia Dortmund. According to The Telegraph, PSG would be very interested in having the services of the Norwegian attacker, who would probably wear the '7'. Another footballer who could inherit it is the Brazilian Richarlison. The Everton winger is another of the alternatives that the Parisian team's board is considering, as well as a good friend of one of its best players: Neymar.

Real Madrid

In the white team, it is the Belgian Eden Hazard who wears the '7' on his shirt. However, with the more than possible arrival of Mbappé, this could change. As reported by AS, Cristiano's departure could trigger Eden Hazard to end up on loan to the Bianconero team. In case this happened, the '7' would be free and the French striker, close to reaching the white team, could take over the mythical number.

In any case, the Frenchman has carried more numbers throughout his career, such as '29', '33' or '10'. However, the '10' is owned by Luka Modric, a player with greater hierarchy and weight in the Madrid dressing room. Therefore, you will most likely choose one of the first two.

Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Manchester United leaves the number '7' free. The club's president, Andrea Agnelli, could award it to the signing he plans to close to replace the Portuguese star. As mentioned before, one of those candidates is Eden Hazard. The Belgian has not found his best version in Madrid and, therefore, despite the fact that he has three years left on his contract with the whites, he could make the decision to change of scene to find his best football again.Manchester United

One of the most used nicknames to refer to Cristiano Ronaldo, who has just arrived at the English club, is 'CR7'. The reason is simple: the Portuguese has worn this number for practically his entire career, with few exceptions.

The problem is that there is already a player who owns this number: the 'matador' Edinson Cavani. It will be the decision of the Uruguayan forward. In case Cristiano does not manage to wear the '7' this season, he will be able to resort to the '28', the number with which he began his professional career. However, by gallons and due to his status as a myth in the Mancunian club, it is most likely that Cavani will give him his number.
