Oviedo makes the arrival of Jorge Pombo official, on loan from Cádiz

Cádiz gives him on loan to the blue club in search of the minutes he did not have with Cervera. The carbayón team reserves a purchase option at the end of the season

Jorge Pombo completes the Oviedo attack front. It was one of the most coveted pieces in the summer, as Ziganda had commented on several occasions. Now, the coach already has his attacking man and Pombo will be able to fight in the Tartiere the minutes that resisted him in Cádiz. The Aragonese will play on loan this season at Oviedo, but the blues reserve a purchase option at the end of the course.

"El maño, who has accumulated more than a hundred games in LaLiga, is a footballer who stands out for his verticality, power and versatility, being able to adapt to different positions of the offensive field," says Oviedo in his public note in which announced the signing.

Pombo's weight in Cádiz's plans has been progressively declining since he signed for the Cadiz team from Zaragoza in the winter market of the 2019/20 campaign. In that course, which ended up on the rise, the attacker collaborated in 12 games, although only three as a starter. Already in the First Division, Pombo started being important, with four starts in five games, but later he lost Cervera's confidence: he finished the campaign with 519 minutes.

Pombo is called to fight for a position with Borja Sánchez on the left wing, although he can also adapt to different positions in the attack.
