Official: Borja Sainz, second reinforcement of Real Zaragoza

The 20-year-old winger will play on loan for the Aragonese team. This Friday he will train at the Ciudad Deportiva and will be presented at La Romareda at 12:30 pm.

Borja Sainz is now officially Real Zaragoza's second reinforcement for the 2021-22 season, after Fran Gámez. The Aragonese team has obtained the loan, without an option to buy, of this 20-year-old U-19 international winger who has already played forty First Division games with Alavés. The footballer has signed his new contract this afternoon and tomorrow Friday he will exercise at the Ciudad Deportiva under the command of Juan Ignacio Martínez, to then be presented at La Romareda from 12:30 p.m.

Borja Sainz is a right-handed winger who usually plays with a changed leg, although he can also do it on the right, and who stands out for his power and speed, a footballer profile that Real Zaragoza lacked to date, in great need of incorporations, especially on the attack front.

Borja Sainz (February 21, 2001, Lejona, Vizcaya) trained for five seasons in Lezama and in the summer of 2017 decided to sign for Alavés, where on August 25, 2019 he became the first player born in the 21st century to debut in the League. Now, practically two years later, he will continue his progression at La Romareda.
