Milan 'rescues' again a Chelsea dismissal

Tiemoué Bakayoko, who has already passed the medical examination with the Italian club, will be officially presented tomorrow. After Tomori, the 'rossoneri' go back to fishing in the 'blue' outfit.

Milan already have Tiemoué Bakayoko tied. The footballer landed in Milan last night and passed the medical examination. In this way, the footballer will begin his second stage at the rossonero club, after playing on loan at San Siro in the 18/19 season, and will be officially presented tomorrow as a new Stefano Pioli player. La Gazzeta dello Sport reports that the pivot arrives on loan for two seasons, with a purchase option at the end of the second year of about 15 million.

Milan returns to 'rescue' again a discarded Chelsea, who needed to air their populated midfield. The rossonero club obtained the loan of Tomori last season, relegated to the background at Stamford Bridge, and it turned out to be a success: the center-back played a total of 26 games in which he scored a goal and Milan decided to buy it from Chelsea this summer for about 29 million.

From San Siro, the loan of Bakayoko is expected to be as fruitful as that of Tomori. In fact, the French pivot has the experience of having played one season at Milan, in 18/19, which means that his period of adaptation to Stefano Pioli's team may go faster than expected. In that season, Bakayoko had a lot of prominence and played 31 games in Serie A. Now, he will have to fight for a place in the center of the field composed of Tonali, Bennacer and Kessié. Bakayoko could debut next Sunday against Lazio.
