José Alberto gives gallons to the Academy

The Málaga coach is more than satisfied with the work of some of the homegrown players this summer and intends to make room for them during the season as well.

José Alberto López is a coach who has always had the home players very present. At Sporting he did a great job in this regard and in Malaga he has shown from the first day the best predisposition to make space among his plans for the young talents of the Blue and White Academy. As soon as his signing for the club was confirmed, he tried to soak up everything related to the most emerging footballers of the base and candidates to be part of the first team this season.

Of the 38 players who have used this preseason, 24 have acted with a subsidiary file and 14 professionals. In the professionals chapter we include Hicham, who rises through the ranks by age. Among the subsidiaries are Ismael Gutiérrez, one of the six signings, Ismael Casas and Ramón Enríquez (the latter has not played any of the six games). Manolo Gaspar has planned to make the last two professionals a professional record because they have been first team players since last year for all purposes. Others like Larrubia, Ale Benítez or Quintana will follow a priori in full dynamics of the first team with their number of the second team.

Among all the team members who have had their opportunity this summer, we review those who have stood out the most, to whom José Alberto is willing to give stripes and who threaten to become regulars of the calls and the matches once that the season begins in Second:

Roberto. Old-fashioned center forward. He has left very good details and was the author of a great goal from the head to Sevilla Atlético after a perfect center from Ale Benítez. He has a contract with Málaga until 2024.

Loren Zuniga. Agile, dynamic and mobile forward. He agglutinates talent and has also shown in the quarry to have quite a goal. With contract until 2024.

Moussa Diarrá. Mali central who has been one of the great sensations of the preseason. Much to the liking of José Alberto, he has all the ballots to become the fourth blue and white center-back. Very good on the top and in the cut. Physically imposing. Renewed until 2024.

Andrés Caro. Another power station with great conditions and an excellent future. He has a contract until 2023 and the club wants to extend it for another year.

Haitam. Pure electricity and talent. Juande defined him wonderfully in a recent interview with AS: “I really like the way Haitam plays. It is very electric and has very good dribbling ”. Contract until 2024.

Bear. He played a few minutes against Almería and was surprised by the self-confidence with which he faces when looking for the dribble.

Kevin. Another extreme with skill and verticality. It has details that recall, saving the distances, Ontiveros.

Bilal. U-20 international right winger with Morocco. A more than interesting lane.
