I return to work with the uncertainty of positives

The squad returns to training today without knowing the names of the COVID cases for which the friendly against Aston Villa was suspended.

After enjoying a day off on Monday, the Sevilla squad returns to training today to begin preparing for the league debut next Sunday at the Sánchez Pizjuán against Rayo Vallecano. And the return occurs surrounded by the uncertainty of not knowing yet the positive cases for COVID that forced the team to suspend their trip to England last weekend, where they should have measured Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.

The club did not make public neither the number of cases nor, obviously, the names of those affected. This is nothing more than another added problem for a Lopetegui who already had to manage to align an eleven of guarantees against Rayo, especially in defense, and who will now lose another footballer.

On the positive side, the return of Diego Carlos is expected throughout the week. However, it seems difficult for the Brazilian to be able to exercise already today with his teammates.
