Caleb Ewan, down for the Vuelta

The Australian Lotto sprinter Soudal will not be part of the Belgian team's roster for the Tour of Spain due to his fall in the Tour de France.

Australian Caleb Ewan (27 years old), winner of two stages in the Giro, will not be present in the ranks of Lotto Soudal in the Tour of Spain, which starts next Saturday in Burgos, as he has not yet fully recovered from the crash that forced him to leave the Tour de France in stage four.

Without its Australian star, winner of five stages in the Tour, five in the Giro and one in the Vuelta, Lotto-Soudal will present a very young team in Burgos, with several debutants.

Those chosen for the Spanish round are: Andreas Kron, Sylvain Moniquet, Steff Cras, Frederik Frison, Matthew Holmes, Maxim Van Gils, Harm Vanhoucke and Florian Vermeersch.

The eight of the Belgian team go to the last big test of the season with the aim of achieving some stage triumph.
