The French team will do a parade with an F1 car driven by Alonso before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this coming Saturday.

Fernando Alonso will return to the La Sarthe circuit, in which he twice conquered the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a World Endurance Championship, and will do so to put an Alpine F1 on track over the 13.6 kilometers of the mythical French track in the parade prior to the start of the race. This was announced by the team, which will participate in the 24 Hours with the A480 in its attempt to beat the Toyota, owners and lords of the resistance in recent years.

“It's time to celebrate our passion for motorsports! Just before the start of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race on Saturday, a unique parade will bring together the Alpine F1, A470, A110 GT4, A110 Rally and A110S on the world-famous French circuit ”, Alpine reports through its networks social.

Esteban Ocon will also participate in the parade, with Alpine with the A110 GT4, and although at first the organizers of the test showed their reluctance to carry out this type of exhibition, from the magazine Racer they assure that this demonstration would be framed as support of the Announcement of an Alpine program at WEC and Le Mans. Even so, and for technical reasons, the car will be a Renault with a minimum of two years old decorated with the current colors of the team.

The A110 rally car will be driven by Manu Guigou, the A110S by Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi and the Alpine A470 by Pierre Thiriet.
