A 'killer' for Raúl

The white club has tested three young strikers and the options they like the most, as AS learned, are Sergio Moreno (Rayo) and Sergio Benito (Valladolid).

A-'killer'-for-Raúl

Raúl has outlined his plan for Castilla 2021-22 and Real Madrid wants to round it off with the signing of a young but experienced forward to give more power to the Castilla attack. He has explored different market options, focused his search on three attackers and as AS has learned right now there are two ahead: Sergio Moreno (Rayo Vallecano) and Sergio Benito (Valladolid) .

Moreno (22 years old) debuted in the First Division with the franjirrojo team in 2018 and also did it in Wanda but does not count for Iraola in Vallecas although the club is looking for a forward and has Lucas Pérez lined up. It is not the first time that Madrid has followed the track. The boy and his environment are looking for a solution before August 31 because Rayo's intention is not to register him. Last season he spent it on loan at Mirandés and played 25 games in the Second Division. As for Benito (22), also with a Rayista past, his future is not clear at Valladolid either. Last season he stood out at Valladolid Promises with six goals in 25 games, one of them in the promotion phase. Two small forwards (Moreno is 1.78m and Benito is 1.73m) and skilled who could complement an offense that has Gudjohnsen, Sala and Aranda as the main exponents.

The white entity has got to work with the idea of contributing to Castilla an incorporation in the style of Hugo Duro last season. The Getafense arrived on loan after playing in First with Bordalás and ended up making his debut with Zidane and as a top scorer from Castilla (12 goals). Castilla will debut in the First RFEF in ten days against Balompédica Linense and during the preseason they have accused the lack of a goal (they have not managed to win any of the five friendlies played).
