Warriors megastars demand a trade to win now

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green have asked Warriors management to move into the 2021 Draft. They want to win now.

The Warriors are one of the teams, along with the Thunder, Rockets or Knicks, that has more than one possible choice at the top of the 2021 NBA Draft. In the case of the Californians, 7 and 14, the two lottery picks . In the second of last year they chose James Wiseman, injured this year and who is already in transfer rumors. What they have to do this time is to play with those two options to, according to what they want within the team, to look for an important transfer that will lead them to automatically put themselves in the first position to win the championship when 2022 arrives.

Marcus Thompson, The Athletic insider for the San Francisco team, says so. In fact, he cites the best players on the team, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, as responsible for the idea. They would have pressured the managers to get a good deal with which to beat a proven player and storm the throne now belonging to the Bucks. The main target is Bradley Beal of the Wizards.

The consideration that these draft positions can help them catch a veteran player, as general manager Bob Myers has admitted they want, is not new. Pascal Siakam is another name that sounds. But on this occasion it seems that the fact that the most representative players are involved in the decision will make that is the direction to take for the appointment with the young people on July 29.
