Tomorrow begins the key week for the future of Burgos

The black-and-white club needs to change the Board of Directors in a week in which training and construction work begin in El Plantío.

The return of Burgos CF to professional football is not being easy due to the many requirements that it must meet and that a group of local businessmen is facing through Yucon. On Tuesday a General Shareholders' Meeting will be held where the businessmen who own the majority of shares want to take over from the Caselli family in management positions. Yucon is still facing all the payments so far, but they need to take the reins of the club in an executive way.In addition, on Monday the works to change the lawn will start in El Plantío, works that will last around eight weeks and the adaptation of several facilities of the Burgos municipal district. For this reason, the Castilian team will play its first two official matches away from home and will not be able to use the stadium in pre-season matches.

Finally, tomorrow morning the players from last season who have a current contract and with whom Julián Calero has, together with the first confirmed addition, midfielder Andy Rodríguez, will be cited. Today the medical examinations will take place and tomorrow the training sessions will begin at the Ciudad Deportiva del Burgos Promesas, after the renewal of the agreement with the subsidiary club that had been paralyzed by the repeated breaches of the previous managers of the black-and-white club.
