Verstappen wins the first ever sprint classification in F1 history ahead of Hamilton and Bottas. Alonso finishes seventh and Sainz eleventh.


Max Verstappen takes victory in the first sprint race in F1 history at the British GP at Silverstone. Hamilton, who started first, had to settle for second place, Bottas was third. Alonso, who starred in an incredible start, came in fifth and finished seventh. Sainz had a mishap with Russell at the start and finished eleventh.
