The pivot, priority in the market for Oviedo

The Blues want to accelerate in the market just over two weeks before the start of the League. Luismi is the desired one for the Ziganda engine room

Rubén Reyes wants to outline most of the squad that José Ángel Ziganda will have at his services this season. After closing this week the arrivals of Dani Calvo, central, and Joni Montiel, midfielder, the sports management focuses on the center of the field, one of the areas with fewer troops at the moment.

Ziganda only has Javi Mier and Jimmy as pure pivots, after the departures of Edgar, who has returned to Betis after his loan, and Tejera, with whom an agreement was not reached for his renewal. The coach has tested the 4-3-3 during the preseason, with Sangalli performing in the middle. Montiel could also adapt to that position.

The main option for the pivot continues to be Luismi, who negotiates with Elche to dissociate himself from the Elche team and accept some of the proposals he has from the Second Division. Ziganda longs for the return of the former Carbayón midfielder a couple of seasons ago, leaving a great taste in his mouth.
