The Ponferradina continues to shore up its squad for the 2021-22 season and this Wednesday announced the incorporation of Kike Saverio (Genoa, Italy, 1999), a winger who arrives on loan from Osasuna after playing the second half of last season at FC Andorra, also on loan from the Navarrese team.

Saverio made his debut in Segunda B with the Barcelona subsidiary, where he played the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, adding 37 games and six goals in the bronze division. Last year Osasuna recruited him to his subsidiary, but he ended up entering the work discipline of the first team, where he played two Copa del Rey matches, and in the middle of the season they decided to transfer him to FC Andorra to continue his progression in a leading team of Second B. In the Andorran team he played 12 games and scored one goal.

In addition, the new Deportiva player has also had international experiences, curiously with two different teams, since he was called up by Spain under-19 and later by the Ecuador under-20 team.

Now the intention of Osasuna, who signed the player until 2023, is for Kike Saverio to continue growing in Segunda with Ponferradina, which has already added eleven new faces for the centenary season.
