Stoichkov, to Eibar until 2024

Juan Diego Molina Martínez, 27, arrives transferred by Mallorca after having played two seasons on loan at Alcorcón.

Juan Diego Molina Martínez, better known in the world of football as Stoichkov, today signed a contract with Eibar that binds him to the gunsmith club until June 2024. The midfielder, Eibar's ninth signing, arrives from Mallorca, despite having been the last two seasons on loan at Alcorcón. He has signed for three seasons and will be presented tomorrow as a new gunsmith player.

Formed in the Espanyol quarry, he made the leap to Mallorca in 2018, but was loaned to Sabadell and Alcorcón before arriving at Eibar today. His football name comes from his father's admiration for the mythical Hristo Stoichkov, and although his DNI reads the name of Juan Diego, all his life he has been known as Stoichkov. The gaditana joke is something out of the ordinary.

A different footballer, with magic in his boots that will undoubtedly give that extra unpredictability so necessary in any team.
