San Pablo Burgos opens Champions League Mondays

The calendar of all the Champions League days is already known, in which this year four Spanish teams will be present: Burgos, Tenerife, Unicaja and Manresa.

The Hereda San Pablo Burgos will start its journey in Europe for the third consecutive year against Besiktas after the Basketball Champions League (BCL) has announced the calendar of the group stage with which the European season will start. The team led by Zan Tabak was framed in Group H of the competition and will be in charge of opening the regular season of the European competition.

The Burgos team will start its third season in the continental tournament on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 8:30 p.m., when it will be exactly one year since they won the first of their two BCL titles. In addition, it will do so by premiering the outstanding games of the Basketball Champions League, the main novelty of next year, which will have an unmissable match for each day and which will be held on Mondays.

But San Pablo Burgos will not be the only Spanish team to participate in the main continental competition organized by FIBA. Repeat Lenovo Tenerife, who will still have to wait to meet his rival for the first game, since he will come out of six suitors who have yet to qualify from the previous phase. In any case, the insular players will make their debut on Tuesday 5. On Wednesday 6th it will be the turn of the other two teams of the Endesa League, both new compared to last year. Unicaja will visit Nizhny Novgorod, starting at 6:00 p.m., in one of the most important matches of the first week of competition.
