Fernando Sainz de Varanda, vice president and CEO of Real Zaragoza, has broken the institutional silence and has appeared this afternoon at the Ciudad Deportiva, during the first preseason training of the Aragonese team, to speak for the first time about the process of selling shares in which is immersed in the first sports limited liability company in Aragon, with two-way negotiations with a Mexican group that represents the Spain Football Capital company and another international group, with a US parent company, which negotiates directly with the Alierta family.

“It is known to all that the club - César Alierta's nephew has pointed out - is in the process of transmitting its participations. We would have liked it to have been closed a few weeks ago, but although we have made every effort to ensure that this would have happened, these processes are complicated, it has cost us more time than we would like ”.

Y added: “However, in the meantime, what we are doing is working as normal. The club has to continue operating and it will continue to do so with absolute normality, waiting for it to close or not. We are going to try to close the process in the next few days and in the next few hours and make it as satisfactory as possible for Real Zaragoza. ”

Sainz de Varanda has also referred to the subscriber campaign, once LaLiga has announced today that Real Zaragoza will debut in the 2021-22 championship against Ibiza on Friday, August 13: “We already have a date for the first match. We would have liked to take out the subscriber campaign, but we are pending, as it cannot be otherwise, that the Government of Aragon makes the appropriate decisions on the capacity. Until we have security, we cannot launch the campaign. ”
