Pogacar: "I like to run like this, in an ambitious way"

The Slovenian scored his second victory in 48 hours on this Tour in Luz Ardiden, and his third overall. "The general is done at 50%," he said at the finish line.

Tadej Pogacar is insatiable. At 22 years old, on Sunday he will have, except for catastrophe, the second Tour de France in his record, since he leads by 5:45 to the second classified, Jonas Vingegaard. The Slovenian got his third stage win on this Tour at Luz Ardiden, the second in a row. "I was happy with yesterday's win, but I felt good again. It was crazy to win again," he said at the finish line, after drying off Enric Mas's attack in the final stage in the first person.

"I like to run like this, being ambitious," he added about his triumph. "The Tourmalet was hard for me, but in the last climb I felt good again to be able to finish with another victory. There are three stages left and the general classification is 50% done," emphasizes the Slovenian about his chances of reaching the top drawer on the Champs Elysees.
