Peña, pure talent for Amore

The Athletic-trained midfielder is the tenth signing for Urritxe's team. It has passed through Lugo, Racing, Alcorcón, Mirandés and Albacete.

Amorebieta already has its tenth signing. Another great hire. He is Álvaro Peña Herrero (Derio, 10-24-1991), an enormously talented midfielder with a long history in the Second Division: more than 200 games. His playing style can greatly condition the way Urritxe's team plays. Last year he was active in Albacete.

The new blue signing was formed in Athletic, another of those small class midfielders like Unai López or Aketxe. He made his official debut in the first team and played two Europa League matches. The first of them, on November 28, 2012, in the fiefdom of Hapoel Kiryat Shmona, where he started as a starter. A week later, he also played against Sparta Prague at San Mamés. In the summer of 2013 he finished his stage as rojiblanco and ended up in Lugo, in the silver category. Later, he has defended the shields of Racing, Alcorcón and Mirandés, in addition to the aforementioned Albacete.

Peña will put its long journey in the category at the service of Amore. Last season, at Alba, he participated in 34 league matches and scored two goals. Vélez de Mendizabal is adding players who provide experience to a group that opens in Second. He has signed this summer to San José (Birmingham City), Luengo (Bilbao Athletic), Gil (Racing), Orkoidi (Sabadell), Lozano (Celta B), Olaetxea and Roberto Santamaría (UD Logroñés), Amorrortu (Calahorra) and Guruzeta ( Sabadell) .
