Pancho Jasen returns to Movistar Estudiantes

The collegiate legend (February 4, 1978, Bahía Blanca, Argentina) will be the club's top sports manager, which has descended from the ACB.

Hernán Emilio Pancho Jasen Cicarelli (February 4, 1978, Bahía Blanca, Argentina) returns to Movistar Estudiantes. As AS learned, the Argentine legend will be the head of sports for the collegiate team and his powers will be above those of Íñigo de la Villa, technical secretary. The former player traveled from Argentina to Madrid to close the deal.

His role will be key in a club involved in financial problems and that will play for the first time in its 74-year history in the LEB Oro. The objective is clear: to return to the Endesa League as soon as possible.

Jasen wore the Estudiantes shirt for ten seasons (from 2001 to 2011) and is the foreigner with the most matches in the club's history with 343. The forward was an important piece in that team that reached the ACB final in 2004 against Barcelona ... and that it was saved from the decline in 2008.
