Official the Ideal Eleven of the Copa América: there are four 'Spaniards'

Messi, Casemiro, De Paul and Estupiñán, included by CONMEBOL in the best team of the tournament, after the conclusion of the tournament won by Argentina against Brazil.

CONMEBOL unveiled the ideal eleven for the Copa América after its conclusion. Four players from the Argentine champion team make up the team by three from Brazil, one from Peru, one from Colombia, another from Chile and one from Ecuador.

Emiliano Martínez

The best goalkeeper of the Copa América and the hero of the semifinals against Colombia for his brilliant performance in the penalty shootout. In addition, Emiliano Martínez starred in two other excellent interventions in the final against Brazil. Draw has come to stay in the goal of the American champion.

Mauricio Isla

The Chilean right-back was included in the eleven of the Copa América, being the only member of the Chilean team to be chosen. His performance during the competition went from low to high where he shone in the five games he played.

Cristian Romero

Scaloni put his trust in the central defender who reached the final, although once the ball started rolling nothing was noticed. A back insurance where you did not make any mistakes, with or without the ball.

The central defender was a fixture in Tité's plans where he was seen accompanied by Militao, first, and then by Thiago Silva. His passage through the tournament was safe and with greater capacity to lead the Brazilian defense.

The Ecuadorian defender participated in all the matches that his team played where he had the difficult task of defending Messi although he managed to stop several of the Argentine player's advances.

Rodrigo de Paul

Di María's goal pass in the final bore the stamp of Rodrigo de Paul. His performance during the tournament has ended with the recent signing by Atlético de Madrid. A very complete midfielder with a great ability to break pressure lines and arrive from the second row to finish on goal.

The Real Madrid player made a good Copa América demonstrating his great virtues as a central midfielder. With hardly any mistakes and always accurate when it comes to snatching the ball from his rivals.

The only Peruvian to enter the eleven has been Yotún. Peru went little by little during the Copa América until reaching the semifinals where it failed to give the bell against the host Brazil. The Peruvian player is called to be a crack and lead his country with Lapadula to be in the World Cup in Qatar in 2022.

The Argentine achieved his dream of lifting a trophy with his team. The best player in the Copa América where he monopolized all the records as the top scorer or top assistant. His level never dropped during the competition, leading his country to lift a trophy after 28 years of drought.

Along with Messi has been the great star of the tournament. His role in the final was not what was expected where he hardly disturbed the Argentine defense. His dribbles always generated superiority in the Brazilian attack.

Luis Díaz

One of the great reliefs of the tournament. The Colombian went from less to more with his team where their numbers are only surpassed by Neymar and Messi. Without a doubt, the Porto team is there to make the leap to a bigger team.
