Britain's Alex Lynn (Mahindra Racing) achieved his first victory in the Formula E World Championship this Sunday by winning the second of the two ePrix held this weekend in London.

Lynn won with 599 thousandths of an advantage over the Dutch Nyck de Vries (Mercedes-EQ), the new leader of the event, and already 6,257 seconds over the New Zealander Mitch Evans (Jaguar Racing). So far the first overall, British Sam Bird (Jagiar Racing), could not finish.

Nyck de Vries moves on to lead the overall championship standings with the last two races remaining, in Berlin on August 14 and 15. The Dutchman has 95 points, six more than his compatriot Robin Frijns and a margin of 14 over the hitherto leader, the British Sam Bird, who left London both on Saturday and Sunday.So goes the Formula E
