Lenovo Tenerife sign power forward Sean Smith

The 25-year-old player from Madrid comes from Palencia Baloncesto, where last year he completed his second experience at LEB Oro.

The Madrid power forward Sean Smith will play next season at Lenovo Tenerife, confirmed this Friday by the Canarian entity, which has confirmed that the agreement could be extended for three more seasons.

Smith, 25 years old and son of the former Real Madrid player, Maristas Málaga, Joventut or CB Sevilla Mike Smith, comes from Palencia Baloncesto, where last year he completed his second experience in the LEB Oro, after having played the previous year in Basketball Coruña.

Smith once played for the Maristas and Canarias Basketball Academy before completing his training in the United States, where he played for Junior College Southwest Mississippi and St. Cloude State University (NCAA II). As a senior in college, he averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.6 blocks to be included in the Best Defensive Quintet and the Second Best Quintet of the NSIC Conference.After that, he returned to Spain.
