Kyrgios revives in London: "I don't mind not winning Slams"

Nick Kyrgios dispatched a great match against Italian Mager with 58 winners. The seeded men compllerion with the exception of Dimitrov and Monfils.

Without the suffering he suffered to overcome French favorite Ugo Humbert in a match that was spread over two days, Nick Kyrgios beat Italian Gianluca Mager 7-6 (7), 6-4 and 6-4 to get into the third round from Wimbledon for the fifth time in his career. The 26-year-old Australian, who went months without playing a single game, has returned eagerly on a surface that motivates him, the grass. He demonstrated it by dispatching a more than interesting performance in which he placed his long-suffering rival 58 winners and committed 28 unforced errors, an acceptable figure if one takes into account the aggressiveness with which it was used. Kyrgios will face a weight rival tomorrow, the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, who fell off Mikael Ymer in a rough game (the Swede suffered a spectacular fall) that resolved 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (4) and 6-1.

"I don't put pressure on myself anymore. I don't mind not winning Grand Slams. I know this is going to piss off a lot of people, that they are going to say 'I should be doing this or that'. But it's not true. No It's his life, it's mine. I'm fine enjoying myself, "said the wayward Aussie.

The seeds, with the exception of Gael Monfils (13th), who lost against Pedro Martínez, and Grigor Dimitrov (18th), surpassed by Kazakh Alexander Bublik (6-4, 7-6 (6) and 7-6 (4 )). The German Alexander Zverev (4th) easily got rid of the American Tennis Sandgren (7-5, 6-2 and 6-3) and will run into another American, Taylor Fritz. The Italian Matteo Berrettini (7th) defeated the Dutch Van de Zandschulp (6-3, 6-4 and 7-6 (4)) and will face the Slovenian Bedene.

Pole Hubert Hurkacz reached his third match of the tournament for the second year after beating American Giron 6-3, 6-2 and 6-4. The aforementioned Bublik awaits you.
