UD Ibiza already has its training ground ready. A space that is located in the municipal athletics track facility and that, subject to changes, will also be used by Club Deportivo Ibiza (a team that will play in the Second RFEF this season) for its matches. This Monday the natural grass surface was completely installed, in which the last conditioning work will be carried out this week, according to sources from the LaLiga SmartBank club.

The gardeners have already made the first lawn mowing and the lines of play have been painted. Everything is going according to plan and the established deadlines are being met, explained sources from UD Ibiza, which obtained the transfer of use of the pitch after an agreement with the Ibiza Town Hall.It is expected that the squad led by Juan Carlos Carcedo can train there when he returns from the concentration he is carrying out in Benidorm, which will last until the 26th, according to the work plan provided by the Pitiusan entity.

In fact, in the annex of Can Misses it is also intended to play a friendly match on August 3 if there are no changes. It is the one that will face UD Ibiza with the Peña Deportiva, a group of the municipality of Santa Eulalia (also on the island of Ibiza) that will play in the Second RFEF, as CD Ibiza.

Before this coming Wednesday in Orihuela, UD Ibiza will play its second preparation match this preseason. It will be against Al-Raed of the Saudi First Division and coached by the Spanish Pablo Machín. The next will be against Mallorca of the First Division (on July 24 in La Nucía) and then the duel against La Peña will arrive.

On the other hand, work continues to prepare the Can Misses municipal stadium for its premiere in the Second Division, which will take place on August 22, on the second day of the League competition, in which UD Ibiza will host Málaga . There were still queues at the stadium ticket offices this Monday to get one of the tickets for the historic sky blue season.
