"Demanding" day at the Hungaroring, that is transmitted by Fernando Alonso after free practice, he was sixth in the morning and seventh in the afternoon. "It was good, it was very hot and humid so it was very physically demanding. Also for the mechanics. We had no problems, we tested the three tire compounds and collected a lot of information. But we are not entirely happy with the car yet," he says the Asturian.

However, he warns: "I do not think that Fridays are so important, we have already seen in several weekends that we were ahead, but then on Saturday and Sunday other teams surpassed us. We have our feet on the ground and we will see in qualifying." McLaren and Ferrari are two fixed ahead of the Alpine and in most circuits they have also sneaked, at least for performance, the Aston Martin of Vettel and Stroll.

Alonso also comments that a conventional Friday is more comfortable for teams and drivers to consolidate the weekend's work, although he understands that the Silverstone format, with only one training session before qualifying, is more interesting for the fans: "Today was more relaxed, we have another training session, the teams like this flexibility although I imagine that the fans want more activity, like at Silverstone ".

Just as the two-time Spanish champion was not entirely satisfied with the Alpine A521 set-up, Ocon saw it differently. He was fourth in the timesheets: "We are very happy, a good Friday, although Saturday will be refreshing and the weather conditions will change. Since we put the car on the track, he felt strong, even with the hard tire, so quite satisfied" .
