Grbic, with the right to request minutes

The Croatian goalkeeper showed against Numancia that he has the potential to play more minutes and yesterday's game was a showcase for interested teams.

Ivo Grobic played yesterday the second half of the victory against Numancia on penalties. His interventions were key to achieving this victory, as he made two great saves during the match and saved two penalties in the shoot-out that led to the game 4-5 for Simeone's men.

The situation of the Croatian at Atlético de Madrid is complicated, on the one hand, he is a student of Oblak, one of the best goalkeepers in the world and from whom he learns every day in each training session; but, on the other hand, what Oblak gives you, Oblak takes away from you, since it is impossible for him to dispute the ownership of the Slovenian, so his chances of playing are very remote.Last season he only played one game in the entire season, it was the Copa del Rey against Cardassar, and he had no notable action, so he could not demonstrate his potential. The game against Numancia has served as a showcase for next season, where he was able to demonstrate his great work with Atlético de Madrid.

The idea contemplated by the club is to make a loan to a First Division team to gain minutes and experience in LaLiga, in this way the goalkeeper would grow as a professional and Atlético de Madrid would not lose the rights to a goalkeeper who could be a perfect substitute on the day Oblak is absent.
