Exorbitant offer by Chiesa

Liverpool are looking to renew the Mané-Firmino-Salah trident, but Juventus would have rejected € 100M. The Italian is not for sale.

Juventus is clear: Federico Chiesa is not for sale. First it was Bayern Munich who made a first attempt at the Italian footballer, one of the most outstanding players of the Azzurra team, the current European champion. The offer from the Bavarians, which was around € 80M, was rejected by Vecchia Signora. Now Liverpool have received the same response. As reported by the Italian newspaper Repubblica, information also echoed by the British Daily Mail, the Bianconeri reportedly said "no" to the € 100M offered by the team trained by Jürgen Klopp.

Massimiliano Allegri's team is immersed in full exit operation, but the name of Chiesa, as demanded by the Juventine coach, does not occupy any position on the list of transferable players. The Italian newspaper also reports that from Juventus they knew that it would be inevitable to receive very tempting offers for the 23-year-old player once the European team tournament was over, but their position remains the same. And, in addition to Bayern and Liverpool, there have also been teams like Chelsea that probed the transfer of Federico Chiesa.

In the case of the Red team, the reason for the signing would be a generational renewal. The extraordinary trident formed by Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah is approaching thirty years of age - they are all 29 years old - and Anfield wants to find a replacement for them during this summer transfer market. Although Liverpool's attackers continue to offer a great performance to the German coach, all three end their contract in the summer of 2023. After the arrival of 24-year-old Diogo Jota last year, Federico Chiesa is running as one of the Reds targets for this summer.
