Burgos BH has reported this Monday that Colombian runner Edwin Ávila has been provisionally suspended for an adverse result in an anti-doping control carried out out of competition.

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has communicated to the Spanish team said adverse result of the South American cyclist by Boldenone, a product included in the list of prohibited substances of the UCI itself.

The result corresponds to an anti-doping test carried out on the cyclist in Colombia, on May 31, out of competition.

This notification responds to an open procedure from which Burgos BH awaits its conclusion to determine, if necessary, the measures to apply beyond those already announced, the team explained.
