China honors Argentina and Messi

A Chinese fan, a fan of the Albiceleste team and the Blaugrana star, celebrated the achievement of the Copa América by financing a series of events in his country with Leo as the main protagonist.


China was dyed with the colors of albiceleste for a few hours. A campaign financed mainly by a Chinese fan of the Argentine team and its captain Leo Messi ran like wildfire through cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Chengu. The main objective of this initiative was to congratulate Scolari's team for their Copa América and to thank Leo Messi for his great role in winning the championship.

The ASP (Beijing All Star Partner) agency was responsible for successfully carrying out this series of events that were distributed throughout the country, some certainly so spectacular thanks to huge television screens and graphics that covered the exterior facades of buildings and stadiums.

The Argentine team has managed to forge an important connection with the Chinese fan, to the point of currently having more than thirty million followers through social networks. In fact, those responsible for the AFA considered China three years ago as a strategic country when it comes to expanding into the Asian market. In its social networks, it ranges from an account to exclusive content for the Chinese market and with a treatment very similar to its concerns and idiosyncrasies.

It is said that the Chinese fan who financed this campaign had to put in approximately one million euros out of his pocket. Undoubtedly, it was worth it after verifying the great success of this initiative, which will surely repeat, and with greater glory if possible, in the event that Argentina is proclaimed champion of the Qatar World Cup in 2022.
