Burgos, interested in incorporating Álvaro Rey

The black and white club needs to incorporate offensive players and has set its sights on the former Mirandés, who played in Bolivia last season.

Álvaro Rey is Burgos' next target to reinforce Julián Calero's offensive line. The Sevillian player has defended the colors of the Bolivian team of Bolívar last season, where he arrived from Mirandés. In the rojillo team he was two seasons in which he performed at a high level scoring fourteen goals. He is a midfielder who can play for both wings and who has a clear offensive vocation.

Álvaro Rey is 32 years old, comes from the Real Betis quarry and has extensive experience in Spanish football, having played for Nástic de Tarragona, Xerez CD, Alcorcón, Racing de Ferrol and CD Mirandés. In addition, he has carried out international forays since, before playing in Bolivia, he also did so in Poland, Canada, the United States and Greece. If his signing materializes, it would mean his return to Spanish football.

The primary objective of the black and white team, after the dispute of three friendly matches, is to strengthen the lead. The team coached by Julián Calero has only scored one goal in the games played against Amorebieta, Lugo and Osasuna. The signings that have reached the El Plantío team so far are defensive or midfielders, but players are needed to add gunpowder to a forward that maintains Claudio, Guillermo and Juanma from last season.

Meanwhile, Burgos continues with the preseason and will play its fourth friendly on Wednesday against SD Logroñés, in Varea.
