Bell-Haynes, Breogán's first signing on his return to the ACB

The Canadian guard (1.88 meters and 25 years old) comes from Crailsheim Merlins of the German Bundesliga. "He's a fast point guard and scorer," they say at the club.

The Canadian national team player Trae Bell-Haynes has become the first signing of the Galician club Breogán on his return to the basketball league.

The team that Paco Olmos will train will have that base, 1.88 meters and 25 years old, who was playing in the German Bundesliga.

Trained at the University of Vermont (USA), where he averaged 11.7 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists per game in his four seasons.

In his university stage, he was a regular in the outstanding quintets of his conference and was distinguished as player of the year in his last two seasons, according to the Galician club.

Curriculum in Europe

In Germany he landed in 2018 with the Skyliners in Frankfurt, then went through the North American Development League and the Canadian League and returned to Europe to join the Helsinki Seagulls before joining the Bundesliga last season with Crailsheim Merlins.

With that club, which was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the German competition by Bayer, he was one of the top five scorers in the competition with 16.8 points and 7.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game.

El Breogán considers him "a quick point guard, scorer, good passer and with great ball handling, whose numbers present him as a great assistant and generator for the team."
