Bayern wanted to throw the house out the window for Pedri after 8-2

Barcelona rejected an offer of 45 million euros from the Bavarian team for the Canarian footballer after the 8-2 defeat in the Champions League.

At just 18 years old, Pedri has become one of the revelations of the European Championship. At Bayern Munich they already realized their potential a long time ago and even came to ask FC Barcelona about the situation of the canary. At the Allianz Arena they saw in the footballer one of the world stars of the future and they came to be on the verge of making him a player of the Bundesliga champion.

This is what the famous tweeter Fabrizio Romano tells in his podcast "Here we go". According to the transfer market expert, Bayern made a spontaneous attempt to sign Pedri immediately after their 8-2 win over Barcelona in the 2020 Champions League finals. According to Romano, the Germans were willing to pay up to 45 million euros for the culé player who is now on everyone's lips.

At that time, however, Pedri's market value was barely 15 million euros. Even so, and despite the difficult economic times the club was going through, those responsible for FC Barcelona rejected the offer. At the Camp Nou, Pedri, with a contract until 2022, is considered Messi's heir. Considering its current market value, which has skyrocketed to € 70 million, the no to Bayern was a wise decision.
