Asier Córdoba new incorporation of AD Alcorcón

At 21 years old, the winger from the Osasuna quarry reinforces the attack of the Anquela men.

AD Alcorcón continues to strengthen itself for the 2021/22 season. Today we have known the third signing of the Madrilenians who has the proper name of Asier Córdoba. Born in March 2020, at 21 years old, Asier is a left-handed player who can play on both ends and thus reinforces AD Alcorcón's attack on the wing.

Asier arrives from the Osasuna subsidiary with whom he has played more than 1,600 minutes this season spread over 21 games, 19 as a starter, and has scored seven goals. Córdoba made his debut with Osasuna's first team in the Copa del Rey against UD Tomares when he entered replacing Juan Cruz at the start of the second half. With Osasuna's first team, he also played six friendlies this season between August 2020 and October of the same year against teams such as Alavés, Real Sociedad, Mirandés or Eibar.

Under-17 international, he is the brother of Athletic de Bilbao player Íñigo Córdoba. Asier also went through the Lezama quarry. A player with speed, overflow and a scoring nose, now comes his opportunity in professional football. It is the third signing of Alcorcón after the incorporations of Juan Hernández and Carlos Hernández.
