Arribas goes to the Greek league

The center-back, who did not train with his teammates, will sign with Aris from Thessaloniki. Oviedo is looking for a substitute in the market.

With Rubén Reyes looking for options in the market to strengthen the team, the exit door also remains open. And Alejandro Arribas will use it for a change of destiny. The defender did not train this morning with his teammates because he has closed the agreement with Aris de Thessaloniki, of the Greek First Division. There is only his termination with Oviedo so that the operation that will end two seasons of Arribas at club azul, marked by irregularity, becomes official.

El Oviedo will thus lose an important piece in the defensive gear, although precisely the rear is the line that the sports direction had more advanced. Of the four transfers completed to date, two focus on defense: Cornud and David Costas.

Now, Reyes will have to dive into the market to incorporate a central that covers the absence of Arribas. He might not be the last defender to join since the intention of the sports management is to find a right back to compete with Lucas for ownership.
