Aitor and Djuka debut in Berto's scoring preseason

The youth squad once again scored two goals in the Gallego team's 7-0 victory over Gijón Industrial in which Rivera and Berrocal did not participate.

Aitor García, the team's top scorer two seasons ago, opened the account and Uros Djurdjevic, the leading scorer from the past, closed it. The main rojiblancos gunners made their debut this preseason at the Sporting scoring festival, which overwhelmed Gijón Industrial in Mareo in the first friendly preparation for David Gallego's team. The meeting, however, once again had Berto as the main protagonist against the rival goal; the youth squad, who had scored two goals in the game that closed last week, repeated with two more goals against the rival from Gijón, a team from the Third RFEF.The participation of both Álvaro Vázquez and Bogdan - absent the first weeks due to COVID - were other highlights in a match that had an overwhelming superiority of Sporting. To highlight above all the intensity and speed that David Gallego's team gave to the game, especially in the first half hour of the game in which three of the seven goals of this scoring festival arrived that will have encouraged the attack of the Gijon team .

The match had the absences of the last two signings. Christian Rivera was in the call but ended without minutes, while Juan Berrocal was presented at noon in El Molinón as a new rojiblanco player and tomorrow Friday he will join training with what is expected to make his debut in the next game. On the other hand, the first signing of the season, Vasyl Kravets (photo), did participate in the last half hour of the match.

The next preseason appointment for Sporting will be next Sunday at the Suárez Puerta de Avilés stadium against Racing del Ferrol. The game will start at 7:00 p.m. and it is expected that it will have the new rojiblanca clothing as a novelty.
