Achraf, to PSG for € 60M

The Moroccan international and ex of Inter and Real Madrid has signed until 2026 with the Parisian team. It is the second signing of the summer for Al Khelaifi and Leonardo.

Achraf Hakimi has today become one of the great signings of the summer market. PSG announced a few minutes ago the incorporation of the former Inter Milan player for the next five seasons, signing until 2026 and becoming, to date, the most expensive signing of the summer so far.

The Real Madrid squad is the second signing made by PSG after Wijnaldum. The arrival of Achraf represents an important qualitative leap for Pochettino, who last season had Florenzi as a right back and the Italian, for which the club has not exercised the purchase option it had, had not been up to the task in the important appointments.

The signing of Achraf has earned PSG an outlay of € 60 million, bonuses included. Although negotiations with Inter have not been easy, the player's desire to go to the French capital has been key to unlocking the operation, since Chelsea was also interested in taking over his services, but Achraf has never hesitated to join to PSG.
