79.5 million for United's defensive double

Manchester United wants to bring Varane and Trippier from Spain in one go and they already have the budget prepared for it,

In addition to the 85 million euros that the Red Devils are going to pay for Jadon Sancho, the Manchester team is willing to break the bank to reinforce the defensive line with two first-rate footballers. Varane and Trippier are the targets of the Old Trafford club. For both, according to both the Mail and The Sun, the English team is trying to take advantage of their contractual situation to get their signing. Both end their contract in one year with Real Madrid and Atlético and are approaching positions.

United wants to close the defensive double that Solskjaer has requested. According to reports from various British media, Manchester United has already budgeted 79.5 million euros to distribute in the two operations. The Mail points out that the idea is to spend about 50 million pounds for Varane, almost 58.5 euros to change. With him, it is explained, the terms of the contract would already be fixed. For the moment, the French defender has decided not to sign an extension with Real Madrid and movements are expected.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer also watches Trippier with interest. The technician plans to try to introduce a system change and move to three plants. The Atlético side is a piece that fits perfectly for that system, as seen during the Eurocup, and, in addition, it would serve to pose serious competition to Wan-Bissaka. In addition, Trippier's experience is highly appreciated by the Norwegian coach, thinking of fighting for the most important titles. In this case, United would invest a maximum of 34.5 million.
