The Grand Prix of Québec and Montreal, canceled

After "an exhaustive analysis", the pandemic has led the organizers to cancel both World Tour category events. It was going to be September 10 and 12.

The organizers of the Québec and Montréal cycling grand prizes, both belonging to the UCI World Tour and scheduled for September, announced this Thursday the cancellation of the 2021 races due to the pandemic.

"After an exhaustive analysis of the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, both in Canada and internationally, 'Événements GPCQM' has concluded that current operational and public health requirements will not allow the holding of the Grand Prix of Québec and Montréal on September 10 and 12 ", the organization states in a note.
