Bucsa and Parrizas, one step away from the final Wimbledon draw

The Spanish tennis player overwhelmed the Ukrainian Bondarenko in two sets and the pass will be played against Sramkova or Govortsova. Parrizas beat Wang and will now face Osorio.

Cristina Bucsa is one step away from playing her first Grand Slam finals at Wimbledon. The Cantabrian tennis player born in Chisinau (Moldova) beat the Ukrainian Kateryna Bondarenko by a double 6-1 in the second round of the Wimbledon qualifying round and is one match away from sneaking into the main draw of the tournament.

Bucsa was very solid at the service, with eight direct aces, no double faults and 85% of points won with her first serve against a Bondarenko who had no option to break and who only won 9 of her 37 points to the rest before fall after 46 minutes of play.

Bucsa will now face the winner of the match between Slovak Rebecca Sramkova and Belarusian Olga Govortsova, twenty-fourth favorite of the qualifying round in search of her first Grand Slam main draw.Parrizas will play the pass against the Colombian Osorio

He will also seek his place in the final table of Wimbledon. Nuria Parrizas, who beat China's Xiyu Wang 7-6 (5) and 6-3 after almost two hours of play. Parrizas knew how to suffer before a very aggressive player who was weighed down by her 44 unforced errors.

Now Parrizas will look for the ticket to the final phase of Wimbledon against a tough rival: the Colombian Maria Camila Osorio, first favorite of the previous round, who beat the Hungarian Panna Udvardy in three sets by 6-4, 3-6 and 6- two. Parrizas, like Bucsa, seeks for the first time to enter the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament and only one match separates him from that dream.
