The thirty-second day of LaLiga SmartBank had eleven protagonists that we detail below. Róber González (Las Palmas) stood out, with a hat-trick; and Iñaki Sáenz (Logroñés), Stoichkov (Sabadell) and De Tomás (Espanyol), with doublets. Whalley (Castellón) was the best goalkeeper of the day after stopping a penalty in a very complete performance.

Goalkeeper

Whalley (Castellón)

El Castellón beat Albacete, a direct rival for permanence, with a superb performance from Whalley. The goal was sensational stopping a penalty to Ortuño, in which he guessed his intentions; and then intervening up to six more times, in clear goal actions.

Defenses

Maras (Almería)

Despite Almería's comfortable victory over Málaga, Maras' defense work cannot be underestimated. The Serbian was impeccable in his work and thanks to him, the Andalusians kept a clean sheet. His game is summarized in: five punts, three blocked shots and an interception.

Javier Castro (Alcorcón)

The young canterano from Alcorcón has tables. Many tables. Despite his young age, little by little he is leaving samples of the great center-back that he can become. Against Oviedo he was fundamental, taking a ball in the same line after a shot from Rodri Ríos. The Madrilenian launched himself with everything and managed to avoid the goal.

Raíllo (Mallorca)

Mallorca smiled again after the blow against Fuenlabrada and did so with a goal from Raíllo. The central fulfills above and fulfills below. His goal came after a free-kick launched by Salva Sevilla; and a better header. On defense, he was sober with five of seven games won.

Midfielders

Róber González (Las Palmas) 444 444

Róber González will hardly be able to forget yesterday's game against Lugo. The winger did nothing more and nothing less than a hat-trick, the first of his short professional career. In his first goal he picked up a rebound from the goalkeeper, in the second he scored at pleasure after a great assist from Jesé; and in the third a great play from inside the area culminated.

Lazo (Almería)

Football is simple at Lazo's feet. The Almería midfielder returned to his best level against Málaga, in a match in which Robertone's first goal was assisted, after a great pass between the lines; and scored a tremendous goal from outside the area, unstoppable for Dani Barrio.

Iñaki Sáenz (Logroñés)

Logroñés let two points escape in the last gasp against Ponferradina, something that was a jug of cold water for a team that is fighting for permanence. Iñaki Sáenz had made it 0-2 on the scoreboard, with two good goals from within the area. He also created another dangerous chance and made two key passes.

Embarba (Espanyol)

Embarba gives reasons for the weekend and also the weekend to be in the eleven of the day. With his great match against Fuenlabrada, this week it was impossible for him not to be there. His goal, after a career in which he beat Glauder's back, is a good example of that. He already has eight points.

Forwards

Stoichkov (Sabadell)

It is surprising to see him play with 2, a number intended for defenders, but as soon as he has the ball, you forget his number. Stoichkov was one of the players of the day after endorsing a double against Girona. The forward from Cádiz has already accumulated eight goals (seven in the league) so far this season.

From Tomás (Espanyol)

He had not been in the eleven for a long time and against Fuenlabrada he retaliated with a double (the third of the season). His first goal came from the penalty spot; and the second after a bad start from Rosic. De Tomás was in the specific place and dialed at will. He has 18 goals and it seems that many more will arrive.

Jesé (Las Palmas)

Seven games have been enough to see the best Jesé. Against Lugo, he was the other protagonist of the match, after launching his scoring account with Las Palmas in this second stage; and assist Róber González, in the fourth goal. Be careful with the Canarian team if Jesé maintains this level.
