Mbappé annihilates Strasbourg

The French international made a spectacular first half in Alsace, scoring 0-1, assisting Kean at 1-4 and was once again the king of the match.

Kylian Mbappé cares little whether Bayern or Strasbourg are up today, as competitive hunger runs in his veins. PSG comfortably beat a weak Strasbourg 1-4 and the French international was again decisive, scoring a great goal in the first half, assisting in another and being a nightmare for the Alsatian team. The victory allows the Parisians to be three points behind Lille, which remains leader of the Ligue 1.

Pochettino introduced seven new features regarding the team that won at the Allianz, including Sarabia and Ander Herrera, although Mbappé was once again in the game. Despite PSG's 0-3 break at half-time, Strasbourg warned first with a Thomasson shot to the post on the edge. However, his big mistake was to give space to Kylian Mbappé, who destroyed Koné at 0-1 with an extraordinary change of pace. Minutes later, Sarabia made it 0-2 after a great personal move and, before the break, a great leadership from Mbappé found Moise Kean and the Italian did not miss the fantastic pass from Bondy to make the 0-3.

In the second half, Pochettino had to change Keylor Navas after the break due to a small muscle pain and Sergio Rico entered. Unsurprisingly, PSG relaxed with their homework and that allowed 19-year-old Malian striker Sohi to close the gap with a good goal. In the final stretch, Leandro Paredes closed the win with a beautifully made goal in a free kick with the inside instep that was unstoppable for Sels.
