Masiá leads a Spanish triplet completed by García and Alcoba

Third pole for the current Moto3 boss, with a time two seconds slower than last Saturday due to the wind. Garcia will start from the pit lane.

Masiá is the boss of the moment in Moto3. In addition to leading the general, thanks to his victory last Sunday in the Qatari GP, he has also achieved pole position for the Doha GP, after dominating a Q2 in which the Spanish have taken the top three positions. The Valencian was followed by García and Alcoba, although the first of these two will not be able to start from second place on the grid but from the pit lane.

Aspar's pupil is one of the seven pilots sanctioned for irresponsible driving in FP2 yesterday, for cutting gas to prevent them from catching a wheel or for catching it themselves. The others are Foggia, Acosta, Öncü, Ricardo Rossi, Fenati and Nepa. For that reason the grid will offer many changes with respect to what the qualification has provided.

With the sanctions already applied, the first row remains for Masiá, Alcoba and Rodrigo. The second, for Suzuki, Migno and Binder. The third, for McPhee, Guevara and Dupasquier. The fourth, for Antonelli, Toba and Artigas, who dragged a penalty from the previous race of two long laps for throwing McPhee, Migno and Alcoba. Acosta qualified ninth, but will also have to start from the pit lane. And Adrián Fernández 14th and Tatay 19th.
