Jovic is from Champions

Eintracht won a fundamental game against Wolfsburg with a goal from the Serbian, who has already added four since he arrived. Dortmund, the big loser.

The Eintracht goalscoring festival had Luka Jovic as one of the main protagonists. The footballer on loan from Madrid made one of the goals in the fundamental triumph of Hutter's team against Wolfsburg to get closer to the Champions League. After a wonderful action by André Silva on the right, the Serbian finished inside the area to score a goal that then put the Frankfurt team ahead.

It was a frantic match, the realization that these two teams have plenty of reasons to make life difficult for Dortmund in their attempt to reach the Champions League. Wolfsburg struck first with a goal from Baku, but before the break Eintracht turned it around with goals from Kamada and Jovic.

Despite being behind, the visiting team did not give up and managed to tie with a goal from Weghorst (the 18th of the season). However, Eintracht's punching exercise prevailed again, despite Wolfsburg's dominance. The team's great scorer, André Silva, made it 3-2 and added another goal to his list this season (he has 23). Shortly after, Durm widened the gap after a shot from André Silva himself that hit the post.

With half an hour to go, Wolfsburg looked far on the scoreboard but not in terms of sensations. He tried in every way, although the clearest option was for Jovic with a great header from Casteels. Only at the end did Glasner's team come close on the scoreboard. Philipp took advantage of a long ball and put excitement in the last minutes. A crazy game and a vital result for Frankfurt, who are approaching the Champions League while driving Dortmund away from Haaland.
