De Rossi, admitted for COVID

The former Roma, now a Mancini collaborator, tested positive during the last break. The outbreak of the Italian team continues to lengthen.

The outbreak of covid in the Italian national team continues to cause problems. One of the positives at Azzurra was Daniele De Rossi, a member of coach Roberto Mancini's coaching staff. The former player, as confirmed by 'La Repubblica', is hospitalized at the Spallanzani in Rome due to pneumonia.

His conditions are not worrying, but the doctors who follow him advised hospitalization. The virus, then, hit about twenty people from the delegation in the Italian concentration, in addition to eight players (Pessina, Bonucci, Florenzi, Verratti, Bernardeschi, Grifo, Sirigu and Cragno).

De Rossi, in the past break, was living his first time in the new role alongside Mancini. Luckily, according to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the hospitalization was as a precaution and his health is good, although at the moment there are no certainties about when the former Roma will be discharged.
