This is how the possible British veto to the National Team would affect

Some English clubs have already assured that they will not yield players to the national teams if they have to do a ten-day quarantine on their return.

National team football is on alert after several Premier's coaches, including Klopp and Solskjaer, have ensured that they will not give up their players if they have to quarantine for ten days after the FIFA break. How does this affect the National Team? Luckily for Luis Enrique, Spain is not on the 'red list' of 30 countries that the United Kingdom has vetoed, as are other soccer powers such as Brazil, Argentina and Portugal, among others. If it had been, it would have been a great blow for the coach who in his last call included seven players who play in the British Isles. And in case Spain entered the list? These would be the problems that the coach would face:

Of the three goalkeepers that Luis Enrique has called since he resumed the position of coach, only one plays in Spain, Unai Simón, while the other two fixed on his list do so in the Premier: Kepa and De Gea. The veto would cause the doors to be opened to goalkeepers such as Jaume, Joel, Remiro or Edgar Badía, for example, who are having a great year.

Bellerín, Eric García and Reguilón attended the last call from Luis Enrique to play the National Team matches last November. On the right side, the Arsenal man came to make up for Navas' loss, indisputable for the coach, who with Carvajal in shape also has the position covered. In the center of the rear there are more doubts. Eric was being a fixture in the last lists and Spain is short of centrals (Ramos is still looking for a guarantee partner). Hermoso, who has already played with Luis Enrique, would be a good candidate to take his place. As for the left back, Gaya has been the starter in the decisive matches and the coach's personal problems with Jordi Alba indicated that Reguilón was going to stay with second place. In the U-21, which Luis Enrique usually resorts to, that position is usually occupied by Cucurella. Another option could be Grimaldo, who is having a good season at Benfica.

Rodrigo Hernández was the starting midfielder in the historic beating of the National Team to Germany. His absence would be fervently noticed, more so now that Busquets seems to have less and less gasoline. Spain is served by talented midfielders, but none seem to fit the profile of an anchor man as is the City's midfielder. Merino, Fabián or Ceballos, for example, have played in the double pivot at some time but are midfielders with a more vertical cut.

Adama and Ferran were two of the most pleasant news in the last appearances of the National Team. They were the best against the Netherlands and Germany in the last break, especially City, which made a historic hat-trick to the mannschaft. They are band attackers and their positions have been covered on other occasions by Ansu Fati, Dani Olmo or Iago Aspas.
