Marc Soler already recognizes the stages of the Giro d'Italia

The Catalan cyclist recognized the sterrato section of the eleventh stage of the Giro d'Italia, which will end in Montalcino, before competing from this Wednesday in the Tirreno-Adriatico


Marc Soler is already looking at one of his great goals for 2021: the Giro d'Italia, where he will have the stripes of leader of Movistar for the first time in a great lap.

Soler, who will make his debut in this 2021 season starting this Wednesday in the Tirreno-Adriatico, where he is emerging as Movistar's great asset for the general classification, took advantage of the previous days to recognize part of the Giro d'Italia route on his journey Italian.

On Monday, Movistar shared images of Soler and Dario Cataldo riding on the sterrato sections that riders will have to face in the eleventh stage of the Giro, ending in Montalcino. Along with them was also Max Sciandri, who recorded the videos and took photos of both riders and who will be one of the team directors in the Italian round.

Soler will start as head of the Movistar ranks in a Giro d'Italia in which a list of high-quality participants is expected such as Egan Bernal, Remco Evenepoel, Vincenzo Nibali or Romain Bardet among others and where he will seek to fight for his first general in a great back after being eighteenth in the last Tour of Spain and twenty-first in the Tour de France despite working for its leaders.
